This book is the author’s account of his first major undercover case while working as a game warden. It is full of the suspense, drama, humor and tension that he felt as he assumed another identity as a risk-taking, less than honest smokejumper, fisherman and hunter named Tony Henderson. Along with veteran undercover agent and fellow game warden Mike Best, he visits a remote bed and breakfast near the small town of Orofino, Idaho. The Crabtree is run by a character of questionable morals and cleanliness who keeps extremely questionable and somewhat dangerous company. This is a true account of Tony's experiences with real-life thieves, liars, poachers and murderers.
